How We Serve You

My job isn't to sell you. It's to serve you.

I'm independent, which means I'm not stuck with one carrier or one plan to push. I work across the full market and walk you through what's actually available, so the decision is yours, not mine.

Health Insurance

The core of what I do. Both ACA marketplace plans and privately offered, medically underwritten options. Year-round enrollment is possible for the right cases, and we'll figure out which path fits your situation.

Coverage That Fills the Gaps

Dental, vision, life, and supplemental plans are available when they make sense alongside your health coverage. I don't push these. If you need them, we'll talk about them. If you don't, we won't.

How It Works

What working with us actually looks like

No fast-talk. No commission pitch. Just a clear conversation about what you need and what's available.

01

Quick Discovery

A 15-minute call to understand your situation: family size, income range, current coverage, any health considerations, and what's prompting the search now.

02

Honest Options Review

We walk you through what's actually available. That includes ACA marketplace plans, privately offered health-based plans, and supplemental coverage. We tell you the tradeoffs of each.

03

You Decide

No pressure. If a plan fits, we help you enroll. If now isn't the right time, we say so. The goal is the right coverage for your situation, not the biggest commission for us.

Real Situations We Solve

You're probably here for one of these reasons

No employer coverage

You're shopping on your own and the marketplace is overwhelming. We narrow it down to the two or three plans actually worth considering.

Paying too much for COBRA

COBRA can feel like a second mortgage. There are almost always better-priced options, but knowing which ones depend on your health and income.

Self-employed or 1099

You need coverage that actually works and qualifies as a tax write-off. We help structure both.

Small business owner

If you have under 20 employees, writing your team individually is usually cheaper and more flexible than group. We'll show you the math.

Pre-65 early retiree

You stepped away from employer coverage before Medicare eligibility. Bridging that gap without paying full freight is what we do every day.

Got a marketplace premium hike

Subsidies shifted, your income changed, or both. There may be private options that beat your current plan, especially if you're healthy.

Real Outcomes

Stories from real clients

Specific situations. Real dollar figures. Names withheld for privacy.

We were paying over $3,000 a month for our health coverage and had no idea we were eligible for better options. Matt walked us through how to get the same level of coverage for just over $800 a month. We had been overpaying for years without realizing it.
Family Savings $2,200/month saved
We signed up for health coverage with Matt in our 30s. Two months in, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Because we'd built the plan with critical illness benefits included, I paid my $12,000 max out-of-pocket but received a $30,000 lump-sum check from the critical illness policy. After treatment costs and our full year of premiums were covered, we still had about $12,000 left over.
Critical Illness Coverage $30,000 benefit paid
I tore my patella tendon at the gym. Because of the plan Matt put me on, my total out-of-pocket cost for the injury, including surgery, came to $250. I was paying significantly less in premium than the other plans available to me at the time.
Florida Client $250 total for surgery

Sometimes the right answer is "stay where you are."

"Matt sat down with me, looked at what I already had, and told me I was better off staying on my current plan. He could have written me something new, but he said it wouldn't have actually been an improvement. That's not an answer I expected from an insurance agent."

Outcomes shown are from actual clients and reflect the specific plans, benefits, and circumstances applicable to each. Individual results depend on plan selection, underwriting, state availability, and the nature of any claim. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Depends on your situation. ACA marketplace plans have an annual Open Enrollment window plus Special Enrollment Periods triggered by life events (job change, marriage, baby, loss of coverage). Privately offered health-based plans, on the other hand, can be enrolled year-round, regardless of whether you've had a qualifying event.
Two main paths. Income-based plans (ACA marketplace) discount your premium based on household income. Health-based plans price you based on your health profile, so healthy people pay less. We figure out which path your situation actually fits.
If you requested a quote online, it's likely your information was shared with multiple agencies. Once you've found coverage, registering at donotcall.gov will slow down most of the noise.
No. Companies under 50 employees are often best served by writing employees individually. That gives you flexibility, no quotas, and lets each employee choose what actually fits their family. We can walk through whether that approach fits your team.
Three questions. (1) Do I get to choose my doctor, surgeon, and specialist? (2) Is there a true maximum out-of-pocket? (3) Does the premium fit my budget? If you can answer yes to all three, you're on the right track. If not, it's worth a second look.
Yes. We offer referral rewards ranging from $50 to $200 for approved referrals.
Nothing. We're compensated by the insurance carrier you ultimately enroll with, and that compensation is built into the same premium you'd pay if you went direct. There's no markup and no added cost to you, which lets us focus on serving you instead of selling you.
